"16-year-old Palestinian, Ahed Tamimi is the latest child victim of Israel’s occupation" says Harriet Sherwood
In order for Intensiv to connect with the wider community, it is imperative that we reach out and are actively aware of current and past events. We are in collaboration with @Amnesty International in the UK. They are an organisation that stand up for human rights across the world, wherever justice, freedom, fairness and truth are denied. Below is a recent incident that they are currently supporting.
Ahed Tamimi, is a Palestinian who turned 17 last month, in prison. She is a teenage protester who was filmed slapping and kicking two soldiers outside her home. In what has unravelled to become a symbolic case in the battle for international public opinion, it has been argued by Tamimi’s supporters that the incident that occurred happened after she discovered Israeli troops had seriously wounded her 15-year-old cousin, who was shot in the head with a rubber bullet during a stone-throwing clash.
